The Australian White Ibis (aka Bin Chicken or Tip Turkey) has been given a bad image due to it's increase in numbers in urban settings and their habit for rummaging through garbage bins and nesting in inconvenient places. People often see them as a pest, however they are actually a native Australian bird and not a feral introduced species like many people think.
Whether you love them or hate them, we think these misunderstood creatures hold a special place in our native flora and fauna which is why we had to add them to our growing Australian animal collection. These beautiful toys are made from sustainable alder wood. Every care has been taken to preserve its texture and natural properties during production. Naturally you may see some growth rings, knots, or rough spots. These are not defects or faults. They are made by nature and tell the story of the wood from which is was made and make each piece special and unique.
