Description
Cousin of the Emu, Cassowaries are incredibly interesting flightless birds that can be found in northeastern Australia. Although they are wary of humans, if they feel threatened or provoked in anyway they will attack and can inflict very serious or even fatal injuries on people and other animals. It's for this reason that they are often labeled as the the world's 'most dangerous bird'. Cassowaries can run at up to 50 km/h through dense forest and can jump up to 1.5 m high.
