Pteranodon's were flying reptiles that lived during the late Cretaceous period, around 80 million years ago in an area now known as North America. Some had a wing span of over 7 metres and despite being closely related, by definition they were actually NOT dinosaurs. Their diet consisted mostly of fish and it's long toothless jaw was very similar to that of a pelican.

These amazing wooden Pteranodon figures are a unique addition to their dinosaur collection.

They are a joy to touch and hold and have varying texture which assists in developing motor skills and allows the toy to become a guide to the world of wonder and adventure.

These beautiful toys are made from sustainable alder wood. Every care has been taken to preserve its texture and natural properties during production. Naturally you may see some growth rings, knots, or rough spots. These are not defects or faults. They are made by nature and tell the story of the wood from which is was made and make each piece special and unique.
