Description

Most Gazelles live in the hot, dry savannas and deserts of Africa and Asia. To stay hydrated in these environments, they shrink their heart and liver. Because a smaller heart and liver need less oxygen, they can therefore breathe less and lose less water.

Gazelles can reach speeds of up to 96 kmh in short bursts and sustain speeds of 50 to 60 kmh. This incredible speed allows them to escape danger and predators.

These magnificent and majestic creatures have been brought to life in these stunning figures from Green Taiga. They are a joy to touch and hold and have varying texture which assists in developing motor skills and allows the toy to become a guide to the world of wonder and adventure.

Playing with wooden figures instills the love of nature and animals while developing creativity and imagination. They are the perfect educational tool for young children and are ideal for use in Montessori and Waldorf play settings.

All of the Green Taiga toys are made from Alder wood and finished with water-based paints, linseed oil, and bio wax. All materials are of high quality and non-toxic.
