Their are over 6000 species of lizard, ranging across all continents except for Antartica. Some lizards can detach their tail to escape a predator while others rely on camouflage or venom to avoid being eaten. Lizards come in all different sizes with the largest lizard being the Komodo dragon which can grow up to 3 metres long and have been know to weigh up to 135 kilograms!
