Although they are called Panda's, scientists believe that Red Panda's are actually more closely related to weasels, raccoons and skunks than they are to Panda's. Red Panda's can be found in the mountain regions of Nepal, Myanmar and Central China. They are incredibly agile and have acrobatic like skills when moving from tree to tree which is where they spend 90% of their time. Unfortunately these beautiful animals are classified as endangered due to deforestation and being hunted for their fur.
These stunning handcrafted Red Panda figures are a unique addition to any small world play set up, as well as montessori and waldorf activities and are also a very special keepsake toy.
Each toy has been carefully sketched, designed, tested, carved and painted by hand. This entire process is intricate, detailed and always involves a lot of love and care from start to finish.
