Description
The Dacian's were a Thracian people who were the ancient inhabitants of the cultural region known then as Dacia (now known as Romania, in particular, Transylvania), located in the area near the Carpathian Mountains, and west of the Black Sea. They were well known for being skilled farmers, artisans and warriors and their complex mythology transformed them into a famous civilisation.
The Dacian's were the most powerful and respected adversary of the great Roman Empire. Their resilience and bravery is immortalised on the famous Trajan’s Column in Rome.
