Description
Around the age of 2-4 years, swans choose a mate which they will generally remain with for the rest of their lives. In some cases, however, they will choose a new mate if their partner dies or if they are unsuccessful at breeding. In the wild, some species of swan can live to be up to 40 years old. They feed primarily on aquatic vegetation but will also eat small fish, frogs and worms. Before European explorers had reached Australia, it was believed that all swans were white. Dutch mariner, Antounie Caen, was the first to be amazed at the sight of Australia’s Black swans on Shark Bay in 1636.
There is nothing more peaceful than watching a majestic swan swimming on a lake in the early morning light. Bumbu Toys have created the most magical wooden toy swans to help your little one learn and create stories as they play.
Bumbu Toys figures are handmade from quality Romanian wood, in Romania.
The principle of their toys is to be as simple as possible. The more complicated the toys are, the more they block the power of children to imagine their stories and to look for new ways to play.
Each toy is a unique piece designed with love and care. Their toys give children the opportunity to immerse themselves in the imaginary world of play. All of the materials used in production are certified so they guarantee not only the highest quality toys, but also the safety of your child while playing with them.
These lovely wooden duck figures are beautiful on their own or can be matched with any of the wooden trees and other animal figures from our Bumbu Toys collection to create a wonderful and inviting small world scene ready for play.
