MAROUBRA BAY PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNDRAISER

On the 18th March 2016, we took part in the Easter Family Fun Festival hosted by Maroubra Bay Public School. We carefully selected some of our favourite toys and packaged them into a lovely hamper to be donated as a raffle prize. The raffle and auction was to help raise much needed funds for our local Public School, Maroubra Bay so that they could finally complete their playground area. The night was a great success and we were very grateful to have been a part of it!

TOY DONATION TO RNSH

In December 2016 we donated 100 of our toys to children staying in Royal North Shore Hospital over Christmas as part of the North Shore Mums Smiles 2 U Christmas Toy Drive.
North Shore Mums Smiles 2 U is an organisation run by mums who in their own time, put together goodie bags for sick children in hospital. Their Christmas toy drive ensures that children who are unfortunate enough to have to visit hospital over Christmas, still get to enjoy the festive cheer with a bag full of toys and games that have been lovingly donated by local families and businesses.
We have donated toys to North Shore Mums Smiles 2 U previously and we are so happy to be involved with such a beautiful charity and group of women.
We are extremely thankful to all our supportive customers who placed orders with us and helped us reach our goal! It was an amazing experience to see all those beautiful smiling faces, despite what they were going through. We can't wait to support this fantastic cause again next year.

LOVING OUR LOCAL

It's no secret that we LOVE coffee so it only seemed appropriate that we donate some beautiful toys to our local cafe's The North End Cafe and Zeebra Cafe for some of their happy little customers to play with! We donated over $300 worth of goodies just before Christmas (2017) and know that they have been enjoyed by many ever since. We will also be sure to keep their collection up to date over the coming year.

CHRISTMAS GIFT PACK DONATION

For our final donation for 2017, we decided to donate some of our beautiful pull along toys to The Royal Hospital For Women in Randwick for their Christmas raffle (our little Leo was born here so it was very special for us to be able to give back to the place that brought our little man into the world). It was a wonderful day and we helped to raise some much needed funds for the hospital. We also donated 60 gift packs for each baby in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) - each pack contained one of our beloved stacking puzzles and a special handwritten Christmas message). We were lucky enough to be blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby but we understand that some parents experience a very different time with their baby where they need extra special care which means they are unable to take them home straight away. We thought it would be nice if they received something special for Christmas to help bring a smile to their face, with a gift that they can keep and treasure for many years to come.
