Description

These solitary nocturnal creatures are found in Eastern Australia. Despite their small and cute appearance, they actually have one of the strongest bites of any predatory mammal in the world. Due to land clearing and a growing population they are now the largest remaining carnivorous marsupial on the Australian mainland.

Wooden animal figures have long been used as a hands on educational tool to help children learn about different animals and the world around them while also having lots of fun engaging in imaginative play.

As their collection grows, so too will the adventures they have. From the farm to the forest and beyond.

These wonderfully unique, handcrafted Spotted Tail Quoll figures are an excellent addition to any small world play set up, as well as montessori and waldorf activities and are also a very special keepsake toy.

Each toy has been carefully sketched, designed, tested, carved and painted by hand. This entire process is intricate, detailed and always involves a lot of love and care from start to finish.

When you hold a Forest Melody wooden animal in your hands, you immediately feel and appreciate the incredible craftsmanship and know that these toys will be cherished for many years to come.

Material: Alder wood, coloured organic linseed oil, and water varnish.

They are made by nature and tell the story of the wood from which is was made and make each piece special and unique.

Disappointed

Although the wooden quoll is very nice, I felt it was not what was advertised. The advertisement showed two quolls on stylised branches and I thought that was what I was getting. The price plus postage was almost $50 - expensive for one very small wooden animal. I tried to email twice on your contact emails - one to Amy and another to Voltja (not sure of spelling) but received a messsge that both emails failed.

Hi Shelia,
Thank you for your feedback. My apologies for any confusion with the images - I have since changed the main image to one with the single animal to avoid further confusion. All of these items are individually handmade and handpainted using high quality, sustainable wood. Our pricing for these items and the shipping are inline with other stores in our niche who sell similar or the same brands. I'm not sure what the issue with our email addresses was as both are working fine but I will follow this up with than email as well so you can reply there and provide any further feedback if you wish.
Best wishes,
Amy.
